London Attractions & Things to Do & See in London

A new London attraction not everyone is yet familiar with is the London Eye, a sort of giant Ferris wheel, that provides magnificent views of the city from the city. First time visitors should include the Eye in the early part of their itinerary. Then there are the many things the city is already well-known for: Big Ben, Trafalgar Square, the Parliament buildings, Buckingham Palace and the Changing of the Guard. Westminster Abbey, the National Gallery, the British Museum, Hyde Park, and St. James Park are well known points of interest. The British Museum alone is worthy of at least a day of your time. Take another day and visit the Victoria and Albert Museum, the Tower of London, Tower Bridge, Dickens' house, and Samuel Johnson's house. Get lost in one of the many huge department stores. London, like New York, is a national center of live theatre, and visitors should always plan to take in one of the shows or plays. Get a head start by exploring some of the many London attractions here.
